Brickhouse was a great heel.
His heel promos were gold.
Brickhouse, iceman and whatley should have been a faction like the freebirds.
The blackbirds.
All 3 guys did great heel promos.

"Split your wig," is such an underutilized gem of a threat. My grandpa used to say it all the time. Also, "slick," when talking about knocking someone out, e.g. "Man, you come over here and I'll knock you slick out."

The WWF and USWA established a partnership in 1992 and that's when Lawler showed up in WWF near the end of the year. Vince sent a lot of his guys to work Memphis over the next several years as part of the arrangement and even did his own angle with Lawler there. USWA closed in 1997 because of a lawsuit filed by the new owner against Lawler and Larry Burton over shady business practices where they allegedly severely overinflated the value of the company to make more money in the sale.
