One time, I came across this youtube video that was a "tutorial" on how to duplicate any item in animaljam and so I was like "oh thats sick ! I can duplicate my skunk tails !" so I followed the instructions on how to do it which involved emailing this certain email address my USERNAME AND PASSWORD. Then, I logged back on and found that all my rares were gone (SHOCKING RIGHT ?? 😱). Like who knew that if you give your username and password to someone they can log into your account, right ? 😱
Anyways I was just a stupid kid and yeah I definitely learned my lesson. That was pretty much the end of my animaljam journey, I only played on and off after that lol and eventually stopped altogether.

LOOOL i had somewhat of a similar experience when i was like 11!!! i had just gotten a bunch of my items scammed and after working my way up again i found a video advertising an item duplicator. it was a file to download, i wasnt actively talking to the person who owned it. but i woke up the next morning after downloading it and it turned out to be a remote access trojan!! the guy was literally controlling my pc as i was using it! even turned on my webcam. i was telling a friend about it on discord and they literally deleted my message as i was typing it, it was so freaky. but yeah all my stuff was gone after that, it was so scary lmao animal jam gets serious
