The TRANSPORTATION APOCALYPSE Has Begun! - New Vehicles Vs. Civilization

Uncle Tony's Garage

While everyone is focused on the extreme prices, huge recalls, runaway technology and planned obsolescence built into today's newest generation of vehicles, nobody is looking at the bigger picture and how these disposable transportation appliances are going to radically alter the way Americans are able to go about their daily lives once all of the older options are aged out and scrapped.
What we found during a recent shop.hunting expedition both surprised us and told us that the grass roots automotive landscape has already started to come apart.

It is now about adapting to ECU coding and calibration using diagnostic scan tools tools that can read and clear DTCs, monitoring real-time PID data streams, and recording/playback data for analysis reaching systems such as ABS, SRS, Engine, Transmission, PCM, ECM, EPS, PDM, TPM, BCM for vehicle troubleshooting. Old Polish proverb "You cannot thin the soup by pissing in it and expect to make. Money 💰"

What’s scary is farming and farm machinery is the same way.

It seems like there could be a future industry of jail breaking cars, and 3D printing of replacements for designed-to-fail parts.

Don't forget about junkyards closing or having major fires

Im 48, and a dealership mechanic for 20 plus years. Many of us in the industry see the way this is going and just how bad and wrong it is. I just bought a 70 C-20. Another guy runs a 76 Squarebody and many others are quickly looking for and grabbing a non computer carbureted ride. Current garbage that is coming out has literally 39 computer modules in it and has to be tied to the big brother cloud. It’s a damn shame, we aren’t free. We’re just a resource for the government and robber barron class
Cash for Clunkers was a government scam and big business scam that we funded to our detriment

It would only be a theory if it were happening in one market. The fact that it's happening simultaneously in literally every single western country means it's intentional, nothing theoretical about it.

It's getting to the point where people have to be MADE to be accountable. Great video and good luck.

Give your carburetor a hug today.

This same kinda thing happened with John Deer. When customers tried to fix their new machine, they were locked out of the system.

This is why my '70 and '71 vehicles are going nowhere, and I hoard wear parts!

Currently dropping a carbureted 300 straight 6 and 4 side manual into a 2018 F150 2wd. Rust proof truck with indestructible engine.

Just look at new car commercials - they highlight the screens in the vehicles "oh look, shiny new tech" meanwhile they make no mention of reliability, longevity, low cost of ownership. It's gaslighting at it's finest.
