Wow.  I feel bad for the Landie…from rough and tough, scramble over anything …reduced to coffee foamer….Degrading.

Such a shame it’s not being used as it was intended 😢

I used to own a 1956 86" Land Rover, registration XKO 120 in white. I took my test in this vehicle and used it as my daily drive for some years. Eventually I sold it to a dealer for £100, I was quite happy with that at the time, it was mot'd and ran very well. That was 55 years ago. Today I drive a 1960 Morris Minor as my daily drive, far more comfortable than the Land Rover though I've always missed XKO 120.

The market has certainly changed! A very original early 80” I thought would have made £20k plus. I hope it hasn’t been molested by the new owners…..

This old landy should have done much more than this. I don’t think you have done this family any favours. The bid should not have been accepted.

Utterly wonderful - definitely with Dave, all the way, on this occasion.

Very nice, but definitely needs those wheel rims taken off.

Kate looks so much like her mum! Not a bad thing!

When landrover turned out good cars

there is a guy in the town where I live has one - restored and very nice. Just leaves in in Sainsburys car park so I assume it has major immobiliser upgrades

Please luck after this rare land rover British history The late owner was a star❤

I don't want to say how much this Landy would go for here in the states.

I have one of these of the same vintage, lights behind the grill, one of the first officially imported to North America for retail sale.  It's in the process of restoration, thankfully rust free and largely original.  Having driven these all over the states for the last 4 decades as my daily drivers / off roaders, it pains me to see what these have become.     Mine will not be relegated to cars and coffee and shows.  I have driven the Rubicon and many other famous trails in my series I's, and this one, shiny paint and all, will be driving thru the Rubicon trail, driving across the states to Moab, Utah, and accumulating a few new scratches along the way.
Purists AND posers be dammned !!!   Especially car flipper posers...       These used to be so affordable and so much fun, any car enthusiast could enjoy them.

I grew old on a sequence of 8 or so S2, S3 Lightweight and a 110 Landrovers over 25 years in Singapore. After that I gave up on the old-tech cart suspension.  I upgraded to a Malaysia registered,  UK origin 1983 RHD G-wagon with coil springs, aircon, auto gearbox and 9 seats.  There is a backup V8 4700cc Landcruiser, but the Gwagon is the school run daily driver. Landrovers are fun but its UK tech is finally to old for me.

Anyone got details of the coffee company

Leave it as is 😮

Those rear D lights seems not of the original types as they lacking the horisontal «steel bar» And those seatback’s isn’t original. But otherwise, a beuty to keep «as is»👍🏻

Rare as hen's teeth in the 'States...

What a bunch of baristas!

Sadly, now all replaced by izusu pick ups.
