The story of vyke is tragic asf. He refused the throne because he found out he’d have to sacrifice his maiden to burn the erd tree. He searched for a new way and found the frenzied flame. The theory is that without his maidens guidance he didn’t know he had to remove his armor to bind with it, and thus went mad instead. That would also explain why his armor is so distorted, and malformed.
I couldn’t care less about any mispronunciations as people mention in comments. The overall explanations you do in each video are just amazing. As much as I thought I knew about Elden Ring, Elder Scrolls, and Dark Souls you have managed to teach me more! Mind you these are the games I have the most amount of hours playing! I surely invested myself in the lore of each and every one of these games, but somehow you taught me even more. Keep doing what you’re doing My Friend!
Thx a Lot man for the Lore vids, Love the relaxing voice, and The topics Overall. Since i started rather late with elden Ring and a Lot of Lore has been analyzed and worked on including and also thx you👍🏾
Lemme explain vyke He was tricked by shabriri k think to go the 3 fingers who claimed him causes his armor to get that pattern then he went mad from the frenzied flame for not being the one who could claim it
The lore people and other fans might take issue with my post but, to me a lot of Elden Ring's story-line feels so messed up to the point where i feel many of the characters lives would have made a great episode on the Jerry Springer show if it were still running and the characters were real
Dude i literally ran around leveled up a bit and beat margit on the second try lol, without spirit ashes, i completely missed them for the first couple of hours, and when i first fought vyke i was like man there has to be sometbing special about this guy he wooped my but like 10 times lol
Only issue I have with this channel is the dude has obviously played a lot of elden ring and still pronounces half the names incorrectly. Names you hear dozens of times on a playthrough.
