Grandparents should be able to keep grandkids when they want to. There should be no obligation.

And these adult children who are put in this spot are NOT considering one or both grandparents with disabilities. If the patents are exhausted after working all day + parenting, well, that's called being a grown up. We struggle with this daily, weekly, monthly despite being seniors with disabilities. In terms of options, they refuse to talk about them. Thanks for the validation❤🙏

My parents are in this pickle now with my sister. I refuse to watch the kids because I know how she weaponizes… but they’re stuck completely afraid to speak up about needing more time to themselves because they’re afraid she will keep the kids away. Narcissistic.

The issue that I’m having is my wife believes we need to take of the grandkids, 24/7. take then to school, pick them up from school, they spend the entire week with us, it’s seems to me like the responsibility of raising them has shifted to us. I don’t know what to do
