Can we get a commentary box that’s reserved solely for Andrew Johns and Matty Johns?

One of the best videos I’ve watched. What a man, what a club, what a town.

I’ve read a lot of critique of AJ over recent years around his loyalty and passion for the Knights. He’s been unhappy with a lot of decisions and directions at the club over Th e last couple of decades but I challenge anyone to watch this clip and tell me he doesn’t bleed red and blue. As does Matty. So happy for them and everyone in Newcastle. 🎉🎉

I’m salty warriors lost to the knights but after seeing that performance i might just have become a new castle supporter aswell🔥🔥Well done!

You can tell that for Matty and Joey this meant everything. After so long 25 years since he played for them they haven’t made a grand final since then. As a wahs fan big pat on the back to the knights happy for there fans and club 🙌🏾🖤

This is why you stick with your team no matter what. When moments like this happen, you'll be proud of yourself for staying loyal during the dark days. Newcastle averaged 20k fans last year, in a wooden spoon season

It’s always great to see Joey happy for his team

The Greatest Player I’ve ever seen.
Joey shows true emotion because he’s a true Knight.

Props to Gus for realising how Joey was and taking that last call.

There was a famous moment with Liverpool fc years ago with Barcelona when the players switched off briefly and a goal was scored which was one of the best comebacks ever. I cried that day and I cried again yesterday. Sport brings out all kinds of emotions if you are a lover of it.

His ability to stay composed while commentating while also being the most nervous wreck is mental, I love you Joey

I'm a die hard knights fan since I know about rugby league.. I have watched the knights beating the Manly sea eagles in the 96 grand final, then in 2001 they beat the Parammata Eels.. Andrew Johns played in both these grand final.. After 25 years of waiting,,we are now into 2026 grand final.. I watched with tears rolling down as the knights beat the Panthers..Go the knights.. let's make a knight to remember..Die hard knights fan in PNG..
