Fellow Legends, welcome! Today we dive into another amazing Pokemon video by MantJTV. This time, we take a look at a hypothetical situation where we see what teams each Gym Leader would have if they were the last one in their respective games. I absolutely recommend that you go and check out MandJTV, and you should definitely go ahead and check out the original video to show some support for the source material!

Mandjtv has a video of him going through the Legendries, which ones are actual Legends or non-Legends

@evilitylive 4 months ago

12:12 Mandjtv does actually have a video on what he thinks should count as a legendary you could react to

1:09 Anyone else really wished this was how they did the gyms in Scarlet & Violet? Obviously I don’t expect Gamefreak to design 8 different teams for each Gym Leader, but it would be cool if there was like a badge range for their teams.

For example, if you have The Player have 1-3 badges then the Gym Leader would use their weakest team, battle with 4-6 badges & they use their mid strength team, & finally battle with 7-8 badges & they use their strongest team.

A system like I think would work great for another open world Pokémon game, would y’all agree?

3:07 Yeah, many people don't realize that the MCs are basically prodigies, having a team of 6 well trained pokemon is a rarity in their universe.

This is pre Team Sky Mikey. He has since recognised Gyarados as a true creature of the sky.

Glad you're going through the early 2020 videos

To clarify the "Multiple Mewtwo in the Anime" thing: We know of AT LEAST 2: the one from the first movie, which appeared in a later movie in Johto, and the Mewtwo from the Genesect movie, which could Mega Evolve without a partner. Because the Genesect movie was the last one of Unova, they started teasing the next Generation with it, like Master of Illusions and Mystery of Mew teasing Zoroark and Lucario during Sinnoh and Hoenn, respectively.
As for other instances, we've seen multiple Deoxys on the screen during its movie, there are at least 2 Rayquaza, one of which is Shiny, there are at least 2 Celebi, one of which is Shiny, and there might be more cases.
E: Gardenia is the only Gym Leader who uses a starter. If you add Elite Four, you can add Flint & LGPE Lance. Normalize giving Gym Leaders starters!
27:50 ...Rotom literally has a Grass/Water/Fire core in its Forme types. Mow, Wash, Heat.

Agreed. I would also like to see more Gym Leaders (or other boss characters) using Starters. 😊

Koga actually had a Arbok in the Manga but it was cut in half if I remember correctly

@owencoles2798 1 month ago

I mean there’s got to be more people besides MC and Rival who gets starters so Gym Leaders and Elite Four could have one.

I hope we get that style in the new games.

The idea for Fantina's Rotom. I can see Wash for Chimchar, Mow for Piplup and Oven for Turtwig.

Kip you should react to his video on if he was a gym leader in every region it’s honestly one of his funniest videos

11:30 I lost my mind when I found out venomoth had both quiver dance AND baton pass

The thing about Legendaries, they could go with a explanation like that one character in the anime. I forgot his name but he was one of the Frontier Brains and he had a Articuno. Technically it wasn't he's, he never caught it, but they had such a close relationship that the Articuno listened to his commands and battled with him as it was his Pokémon.

12:12 I KNOW PEOPLE HAVE SAID, but the video is called “the legendary problem (and how to fix it)”, he goes into detail about rules for being a legendary and which apply to the ones at the time. You’ll be surprised how many don’t work, I think barely a 3rd works.

10:25 Love South's comment in the chat.

10:55 I think GameFreak was confused in gen 1. Half of the poison gym used psychic types and half the psychic gym used poison types.

15:40 Yes. Grass/psychic is utterly busted.

17:00 Don't uckle with shuckle.

24:27 The leader of Team Sky rejects it.

25:03 Aggressively Juan. I love it.

25:55 The DP Dex shade. I love it.

28:05 That's super cool.

35:30 For sure, end of an era.

45:45 The snek!

Personal answer for Legends answer. Some legendary have 1 per region. Examples being the Birds, Regis, deoxys, and Phione/Shaymin. Then other, more powerful legends are one of a kind. Ho-oh, Kyogre, Grodon, Lord Skydios and the creation trio.

I wish Pokémon would add a Gym Progression system to the Gym Leaders so if there are certain ones that can be fought at certain orders, then their team would vary.
