I've been watching this movie for almost 40 years. The "I want my father" line still gets me every time.

Grandpa's "As you wish" gets me every time.

Robin Wright tells a really wholesome story about Andre The Giant. She says the crew went horseback riding one day during a break and got caught in freezing rain. She says that Andre saw her shivering and miserable and, casually, as if it was the most normal thing in the world, rested his enormous hand on her head like a hat. She says the heat from it warmed her up and it kept her dry surprisingly well. She says the action made her feel safe and protected. After that 'hand hat' became sort of an inside joke, he'd rest his hand on her head and they'd walk around like that for a while.

Well, If Inigo becomes the new Dread Pirate Robert’s, he will STILL in the in the revenge business since the DPR’s ship is named The Revenge.

I'm glad you caught the real reason for Grandpa's "As you wish" at the end. Movie started off with the grandson in that 'affection is icky' phase of his life. "as you wish" was grandpa's way of saying "I love you" that the grandson would easily accept.

37:51 Inigo inflicted every sword wound Count Rugen had inflicted on him right back, from the two stabs to the arms, to the slashed cheeks, to the stab in the heart that took his father.

When Ynigo said "I've been in the revenge business for so long, I don't know what to do next" and Wesley offered him the job of the Dread Pirate Roberts, that means he would get Robert's ship, Revenge, and be back in the Revenge business once again. 😁

Before feeding the miracle pill to Wesley, Inigo either kissed it or took a little bite of it, it's hard to tell. But he basically got a little bit of healing for himself, which is part of the reason he survived the boss battle with the six-fingered man.

Since the invention of the movie there have been five that were the best filmed, most cinematic, best written, and directed. This one blows them all out of the water.

"You keep on a-using that word; I do not think it means what you think it means."

I was disappointed in not seeing the reaction to this classic statement. Ah well, I'll live.

The sword fight between Inigo and Wesley is considered to be one of the best in film history.

Imagine being one of the white horses, and you see the lady get on one of the others, and the guy wearing black, and the swordsman get on the other two. And suddenly you realize, there's only one left . . .
