i can’t kiss my business bros????

Rule 1. dont pick up the phone you know he’s only calling cause he’s drunk and alone

Number One rule: Be premium. So I'm already set.

Someone at GQ is in cahoots with Big Cala Lily because why the fuck was that so specific

"be unambiguous when asking someone out" *proceeds to list incredibly ambiguous ways to ask someone out*

etiquette is historically not straightforward

This article's tone is all over the place. Are we offensively strict, hip with the kids, or just stating the obvious for good human beings?

1.  can't kill anyone
2. can't make anyone fall in love
3. can't bring people back from the dead

As a florist the calla lilies are SENDING me into orbit.
One - Toxic to most pets
Two - Seasonal
Three - They are oftentimes specialty flowers... Which means they are extremely expensive.😂

Calla lilies are funeral flowers... also they're super toxic to cats and dogs. Don't send people calla lilies unless they specifically say they like receiving them. Roses, gerber daisies, and orchids are all pet-safe and rarely associated with death.

if you’re dating someone with cats, please do NOT send them lillies! they are toxic to cats. poisoning your partner’s cats would be very ungentlemanly

The J in jentleman stands for Jarvis

Ok but the no speaker phone/watching tik tok without headphones could’ve been the whole list. It’s an epidemic.

I'm a 21 year old college student and these "basic" manners reminders really are needed. People really do vape indoors, refuse to say please/thank you, and blast things without headphones.

I'm actually in shock that one of the things on the list was just straight up don't commit sexual assault. Like yeah NO SHIT, how bad is it getting out there???

i love the switch up between hand holdy infantilizing and random 1920's buisinessman ettiquette

Here’s a tip I tell all my friends who are dating:
Just ask. If you want to know her expectations, ask what they are. If you want to get her flowers, ask what kind she likes. If you want to be a gentleman, ask what gentlemanly behavior is to her.
In my experience, the ladies are charmed if you ask them ahead of time how they feel about bouquets or handholding or walking them to their door or a goodnight kiss.
It sets their expectations, shows you care about making a good first impression, and prevents accidentally looking creepy while trying to be gentlemanly.

im deaf, im always stoked that jarvis' videos have real captions.

100% agree about coffee for a first date. I always do like an afternoon coffee date with someone new because if we don't hit it off, then it can be quick and not expensive and you still have the rest of the day, and if you DO really hit it off it's easy to transition into a dinner date. Honestly, it just works way better and is a lot less pressure on everyone.
