Hello. My name is Schorschi. I live in Northern Germany. I'm German. I just recently came across your channel and am absolutely thrilled. As a Western European, I'm so spoiled that I'm almost ashamed, because many of your work processes make me think: "Why doesn't he use a machine now?" But that, precisely that, is what makes your videos so "meditative"; Everything is made by hand, with a lot of skill, a lot of patience, a certain spirit and even more, with a lot of experience. Oh, if only I had this gift too. Of course I have read your vita, and I tell you: “It is not important when and whether your house will be “finished”, the path, and only your path is the goal! And beyond that, it doesn't really matter whether other people like it, because it's your house and you want and have to live in it. I greet you warmly and wish you health and a long life. Schorschi from Northern Germany.

Very nice work brother

Nice reuse of a tool. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎

The trick of stamping a bolt with a metal file 🏅sir.

So many useful techniques crammed into quite a short video. Excellent work.

Thank you. Many of us take for granted the abundance of tool choices around us. You have a refreshing attitude. God bless.

I assume sir you are a Japanese gentleman I love this video very much I'm just  an admirer  of most things  Japanese regardless of the current  times and decreased values of the western world the Japanese people retain a class all there own  I would do love to visit Japan someday and watch first  hand workers such as your self
