Remember how he befriended Transmutate?  He found a kindred spirit that suffers for their existence

'How droll, a cannibalistic quasi-immortal crab monster who feeds on the terror and suffering of others.  I think I shall cut his soul out and make him into my eternal slave, yessss.' -The Real Monster?

The Hannibal Lector of the Transformers franchise. One of the few villains I felt bad for. He was created as a monster and was punished for being a monster.

So Rampage is an experiment based on Starscream's spark?!,my god, even as a bodyless spark,Starscream is an experiment basis.

I loved what they did to Rampage in the Beast Wars Uprising storyline. They turned him into a boarderline hero.

how to sell a transformer crab toy? by trnasforming into a sick TANK

One thing I always found really fascinating about Rampage’s design is that considering his beast mode is a crab it would be all too easy to just have his beast mode claw arms be his robot mode arms, but his robot mode actually has a proper set of regular humanoid arms with hands.

He was created to be a monster, was regarded as a monster & died like one.  😞

I really felt sorry for Rampage he was a victim of both the Maximals and the Predacons with the Maximals because they messed with something that they couldn't control and with the Predacons because Megatron removed a part of his spark and incased it in a case with energon crystals which he used to later resurrect Dinobot and I hate to say it but I'm glad that Depth Charge came along and extinguished Rampages spark ending his suffering and being used as a weapon by the Predacons and a failed experiment by the Maximals who were responsible for his existence and it's also hard to believe that Optimus Primal was partly responsible for all of it.

3:46-5:05 This just proved how Megatron is in fact EVEN MORE dangerous than Rampage.

F**king LOVE this character! RIP Campbell Lane. We will remember your fantastic portrayal of Rampage.

Rampage was a real bad experience to those bots.

What I liked the most about rampage was his weapon.

It was basically, a gatling gun that shoots rockets.

The explosions, his tank form and basically immortality, I think he was the mlst powerful predacon, even more powerful than Megadragon.

The maximal elders wanted a monster, and now they got it. But not as they hope for.

Starscream's immortal spark created rampage awesome

i still can't believe they approved of this character lol!

Megatron: Beast era
Rampage’s spark: car robots
Rampage: RID

If 40K ever does a tie-in I hope they make Rampage a Carnifex.
Of course Megatron has to be a Monolith, as appropriate as a Hive Tyrant may seem.

So rampage became smaller because a portion of his spark was taken

This guy was basically IDW Sunder before there ever was an IDW Sunder.
