New reaction footage, ya love to see it, Billy! 💜

Fun Fact: Longest Quidditch game in Harry Potter lasted 3 months, they kept having to bring on substitutes so the players could get some sleep. And in the Goblet of Fire, Bulgaria caught the snitch and Ireland still won because they were 160 points ahead.

Took me almost 5 years of rewatching the scene where McGonagal sends the Slytherin students to the dungeons, to realized she did that so they wouldn't have to fight against their parents, or watch their parents die in front of them. She is a queen.

Everyone goin' off about the Elder Wand... In the book, he never broke it. He used it to repair his own broken wand, and replaced it into Dumbledore's grave, thinking that he'd never be disarmed for the rest of his life, and even if he was, no one would know about the Elder Wand's allegiances, breaking the cycle, and effectively ending the Deathly Hallows, relegating it to no more than a story.

Harry and Hermione both grew up in a muggle household and neither has siblings. They've found siblings in each other.

I hate that they never explain why Snape called himself "The Half Blood Prince" in the movie. Long story short, he had a muggle dad who was abusive (probably why he hates muggles). His father's last name is Snape and his mother's last name is Prince. Since Snape was a half-blood, he called himself "The Half-blood Prince."

the disrespect on Lupin's name every time they call all dark arts teachers evil

Fun fact to the non book readers: it was Umbridge who sent the Dementors after Harry. It was a way to silence him from speaking out against the ministries denial of Voldemorts return.

Sadly you guys are wrong about Snape. He didn't join the Death Eaters as a double agent. He joined the Death Eaters towards his later years in Hogwarts. Him being a Death Eater is the only reason why he was privy to the information of the prophecy to be able to tell it to Dumbledore. It was that moment where he flipped and became a double agent.

So the cloak was given to him by Dumbledore, but his dad had asked to pass it on. if you remember, in the story of the 3 Peverell brothers, the youngest, Ignotus Peverell only died after passing the cloak to his son. The books confirm this, or at least, I think the lore confirms this, but essentially Harry is a descendant of Ignotus Peverell.

fun fact: the awkward hug between Malfoy and Voldemort in the last movie was improvised and Tom Felton had no idea it was coming either

“His father is so happy at first thinking that his son has just won the Triwizard tournament. But then he realizes the kid is dead and he howls like a dog. That’s the exact moment that the franchise changes forever.”-Mike Newell reflecting on Cedric Diggory’s death

Ravenclaws are known for wit and intelligence. Everything associated with them is told in riddles, even the password to get into their dorms.

I waited NINE HOURS for y'all to see Mrs. Weasley destroy Bellatrix and it was WORTH IT.

I'm always annoyed how they took away Rons role in the group. In the book he's the only one who grew up in the magic world, so he takes the role of a guide, especially in social topics. When Hermione is insulted as a mudblood in the second book she has no clue what that means, it's Ron who explains what it means. Many of rons moments have been given to Hermione. When trapped in the devil's snare in the first book it's not Ron who's panicking but Hermione. Ron tells to get it together and use her wand.

The longest Quidditch match on record lasted approximately three months. To make this possible, teams had to use substitutes to allow players to rest, eat, and sleep. A Quidditch match continues until a Seeker catches the Golden Snitch, a rule that allows for extended gameplay if the Snitch is not caught

Just a fact: Myrtle was Tom Riddles' first victim that he used to create a horcrux. The Diary.

Fun fact: Hermione changed her parents life so much. She changed their names and made them move to Australia. That's why no one questioned them about her.

1:56:56 Tom Felton (Draco) apparently forgot his line here and improved the “I didn’t know you could read”.   I just love the line

The chocolate for the dementors is very meaningful. They just don't explain it. When a dementor is close you are deprived of any somewhat cheerful thought. You fall in super depression. Remus stuffs Harry of chocolate to boost his serotonin and put him back on his feet.
