YEEEEES, SOMEONE FINALLY WATCHED WOOLIES KIRBY LORE!!!!  LEEEET'S GOOOOO!!!!!

And, once more, the Super Best Friends touch the vtuber world from another unexpected vector.

Awesome reaction! So glad you decided to watch these!
By the way, there's a theory that the reason Kirby games look so cute is because Kirby himself is so powerful and innocent that eldritch monstrosities look child-like to him

As a game designer/writer, Kirby's narratives are actually a fantastic example of combining gameplay and narrative themes. From the very beginning, the Kirby series' design philosophy has always been about making games accessible to all ages by combining approachable simplicity with engaging complexity.

Case in point: Kirby's ability to fly. The devs gave this ability to Kirby so that very young players who couldn't get past the game's platforming challenges could simply fly over them, but kept it slow and floaty enough that skilled players would still prefer platforming like normal. Same goes for the copy ability added in the second game: some copy abilities are very complex and intended for skilled players, while others are very simple and easy for new players.

This design strategy is so intertwined with the Kirby franchise that it's literally referred to as "Kirbyism" by game designers, and they extend it to the games' storytelling. Kirby narratives are on the surface EXTREMELY approachable, however they use lore and implication to hide an enormous amount of complexity and maturity under the surface for those players who want something more engaging.

The Kirby lore rabbit hole is deep, and Woolie is the best guide for it. So glad you finally got around to this

Cloudy Your reactions always make lore videos more fun.

Fun idea. Cloudy Kirby. He wears your hat and wields a staff or magic broom and casts storm based magic.

Prepare to haiii is a play on words for another channel that does like Dark souls lore, which has a series called Prepare to cry

Edit: If you ever wanted to watch the videos on games by fromsoftware, the channel is Vaati vidya. Hes the lore expert on darksouls, bloodborne and elden ring

10:43 just for clarification, the original video maker didn't seem to realize this, but that guide got 02 mixed up with another enemy which lives on Shiver Star. 02 in actuality has nothing to do with Shiver Star.

I know that the video its all "The dread in the universe is when something is watching your planet, and wishing that it would stop asking if there's anyone around" but every time i see a Kirby character i go:

"Kirby! (Kirby!)

Kiiirby! (Kirby!)

Kirby! (Kirby!) Kirby, Kirby, Kirby chegooou!"

I love the fact that something as cute as Kirby has eldritch lore 🤣

I personally believe Galacta Knight did nothing wrong, but he probably shattered a planet while fighting Void Termina so the Ancients looked at that and got scared of the possibility that Galacta Knight could turn that strength on them

It's been recently implied that the Master Crown was the one who ended the Ancients, at least it wrecked havock in Halcandre at some point.

woolie's lore videos are absolutely next level, his guilty gear series was so well done it was officially endorsed by the game devs

Woolie also has a great video on like, what kirby game you should play. Which is outdated, but fun

Y’know, when I first watched it, I was expecting him to suddenly drop the scary act and go “Just kidding LOL!” It was about when he said“the Ancients of Halcandra” that I realized he was serious.

I got the flu, so nothing better than my favorite comfy witch Vtuber to help me heal

13:47 for a moment i thought he would say: "ripping open it's fat"

Yay, more Kirby!

Cloudy clarity always brightening up our days

Ive been praying for days like this
