This was 1972. Damn. Africa probably needed to listen to him

I'm just from visiting Uganda and i asked the locals who their favorite leader was enthusiastically everyone said Idi Amin Dada

Looking back its not the English language but its the content of his ideology this man was a true patriot for Ugandans. I believe he could have been an asset for the whole of Africa if he had been understood then.

Outright Idiot of the highest order.

Sounds like bad economics

So many comments supporting Idi Amin only show their ignorance, "ah look, he dressed well and spoke so eloquently about making friends and the economy, we need leaders like him" This man killed, cannibalized, stole from, and systematically oppressed his own countrymen. It is no surprise he is charismatic and likable, he is interviewing. putting on a face. Years later, he is still beguiling people.

I know the dude was a murdering pos, but I'm not gonna lie when I say he looks fresh as fuck in that suit.

real man

wasn't this the guy that ate people he literally called himself a killer

Visionary leaders are always called dictators

Very elite

Bullshit .what do you mean if a video is recommended for me? We live in the 21st century free world. Haha African king orodje

This battle of trying to transfer the economy to Africans has been going on for some time. And the people who want to lead that are given bad names and bad publicity. Case in point is Mr I. Dada in those years and recently here in South Africa, Jacob Zuma. Give them bad publicity thereby masking what they were actually trying to do.

Everytime I follow GENERAL Idi Ami Dada and Col Mohammar GADDAFI. The first thing you hear in  their mouths is  their COUNTRY'S economy and its CITIZENS  , why nobody wants to  talk about some positive things they did for their country?

When he was called "black hitler" he allegedly smiled because he thought it was a compliment as a strong and decisive leader lol

No one will never love Uganda like Idi Amin Dada!!

He was a true patriot and a independent man thats why hes portrayed badly. no doubt he was a mass murderer also but name me a western leader in last 40 years who arent also mass murderers. you cant do it.

Tutamtupa kagera, awe chakula cha mamba

He would make Hitler vomit.

Compare to what is happening today
