Also, it's very important to note that Jean's message of Xavier's betrayal was the very message that brought Bishop to the past to pursue the X-Traitor.

Should've included Uncanny X-Men #322, where Juggernaut got slugged from Canada to New York, and uttered the very first mention of the name "Onslaught".

I never got to read this event at the time, but I remember all the marketing, most notably, MvC1, as others have mentioned. The Onslaught quotes are legendary:

"Know my name and fear it, I am Onslaught!"

"No one is safe."

"The dream is dead."

Remember playing Clash of Superheroes non-stop and having Onslaught come out was so timely and amazing : D

I think that The Dark Beast was one of the few characters brought over from the Age of Apocalypse simply so writers could make the "Real McCoy" joke. That's kind of on brand for Marvel writers.

I only knew of Onslaught because of Marvel vs Capcom 1

I feel like you should have also mentioned the previous encounter with the X-Men and Post. And shown the first encounter with Xavier and Nate Grey

This was my reintroduction to marvel comics way back in the day.. I bought the collectors editions from the corner shop near me and was happily confused and entertained all at the same time! What a time to be alive 😊

I came across your channel a few weeks back with your Frank Miller's Batman saga, and have been hooked ever since. You are doing a fantastic job. Keep up the great work.

5:49 He defeated Jean yes!!! But he didn't actually defeat The Pheonix Force. It was just symbolic of what he actually did. And what Onslaught actually did was shut her potential access to the Pheonix Force off. Because he knew if Jean was able to tap into in. She could easily defeat or destroy him. Whether she was in control of it or not.
