Years ago I took my daughter on the back of my Honda CB1000a to the Trough of Bowland.  When we stopped in Slaidburn for a coffee she complemented me on my knowledge of all the lanes we'd been on, I answered I'd no idea were we were going i just made it up, were out to enjoy ourselves I said and that's what we're doing.

Thanks for another great video Ian lovely avenue of trees through the estate and some beautiful buildings,  haven't done much work over the last few weeks the price of deisel especially is ridiculous and like you say is going to affect the prices in the shops, with the energy caps rising aswell.

Just a couple of amusing controversial points; not to be taken too seriously peeps.
Road users should not be held guilty of any offence where the authorities have failed to install a no vehicular access, road closed or no motorcycles sign etc on a public road or byway or any route that has vehicular access. Just because the signage is for roads stuck in the middle of nowhere, where it is slightly inconvenient and costly for the local authority, is no excuse for that local authority to neglect its duty to inform road users of the legal status of any particular public road or byway that is covered by any Road Traffic Act. Folk won’t agree with this and I’m pretty sure the authorities and the law won’t either. As everyone knows the “Law is an Ass”.
Another good argument regarding access to land owned by the landed gentry or any land owner etc is this. The land that the landed gentry claim to own is actually stolen property.
The land was given to certain people in 1066. These gifts of common land were stolen from the people. The land was not anybody’s to give away in the first place. The saying,”To the victor goes the spoils of war” is not a legal argument. Just check out the on going legal battles in Eastern Europe over land and houses stolen by the Germans in WW2.
You see I can’t see any legal difference between property and land stolen by the Germans in the 1940’s is any different from land stolen by William the conqueror in 1066.
In both cases the thefts are being perpetrated by a conquering army and legal action is still underway by the original owners/descendants of the property and land stolen by the Germans in the 1940’s.
Obviously these arguments over signage for any change in legal status for vehicular access don’t hold water with the English authorities or courts; you see, they wouldn’t, would they?
Ride your motorcycle, enjoy, smile, be happy, ride safe and be smug in the knowledge that you know exactly what large land owners and landed gentry with huge estates actually are. 🤪👍🏍❤️
