Y'know Funny Thing, Based On Concept I Actually Did Think Of A Psychopath Idea For That Medieval Area

Someone Dressed Up As A King For The Area Who Takes His Job Way To Serious And Acts As A Tyrannical Leader, Ruling Over His "Kingdom" And Executing Any Survivors Who Don't Bend To His Rule.

How about a "Dead Rising 0"? You play as a young Carlito Keyes and experience the Santa Cabeza outbreak first hand, seeing the corruption of the US army from Carlito's eyes. You save his friends and family and get to know them as you bring them back to the safehouse, only for them to all be killed in the last third with Carlito and Isabella as the sole survivors. The game ends where the first begins, on the rooftop of the Willamette Mall from Carlito's perspective. As he greets Frank and Frank enters the mall, Carlito kisses his locket, says "Pachamama", roll credits.

You forgot the most important detail that a next Dead Rising game really need to do...

Not kill the series

You speak with more passion and knowledge of the series than I think anyone did at Capcom Vancouver in it's final days.

No Psychopath idea section? I would love to hear some idea from you. Especially when it’s set on a theme park!

A cool setting for me would be an outbreak in Louisiana during Mardi Gras. You get zombies dressed all zany-like and get to make combo vehicles with parade floats

I for one would like to hear more ideas from this hypothetical game

This is exactly the direction the series needs to take, sticking to basics while still making its own mark on the franchise. I'd love to hear your ideas for side missions.

This reminds me of an idea I had for a bookshelf.  The player could have a readily available second copy of a book or magazine in the security room if they were willing to carry back the original.

Love the idea about limiting Combo Weapons, I thought they went overboard after 2. Great Video, you made a more compelling story in 7 minutes than Dead Rising 4 did with 10 or so hours.

One idea that could be used for this is that assuming there's a mass casualty even at the start like the rest of the games, maybe a quirk with the DRX one could be that you could be able to save everyone in that section, but it's incredibly hard to do so. I just think that'd be a cool idea for one of those sequences.

Rebecca Chang's untimely death takes a lot of the fun out of the story

I love dead rising yapping

this is some of the best dead rising content ive seen in years

There's plenty of room for crazies in what you've cooked up, including a gang of cutthroat performers in the Wild West Stage Show, a store clerk turned Merlin knockoff at the magic shop in Medieval Ages, a foreman "gnome" skittering around Gnome-Man's Land, a food critic that found an oversized admiral uniform at the fancy restaurant in the Food Port, and more!

Capcom needs to hire this man ASAP!

There are some Interesting ideas in this video But personally i love the idea of a Cruise being the setting of the next Dead rising I think it'd be awesome just to be on a this BIG ass boat killing zombies

there's such high potential for the next dead rising game, i'm pumped thinking about it

Such dedication for this whiteboard, filled with all sticky notes. Worthy of Kojima gaming franchise. Nice one, Jake.

Alternate title: how I would make dead rising 4 reboot
