You think you remembered seeing Paul in posters or movie trailers because "over the last 60 years the human race has been drip fed images of his face..." 😂

"Tell him you failed." is a line that goes way too hard for this movie.

Lorenzo's Oil was a movie, but not a sci fi. It's the true story of how a layman cured his son's disease after orthodox medicine had given up. Lorenzo was his son. The father studied and studied everything on the topic and invented an oil to treat his condition. Lorenzo's Oil, is now the standard treatment/cure for this particular condition (though I can't remember what that condition was). Look it up, it's quite a story and quite a film.

Every time I watch this I think of Roger from American Dad. Paul is just what I think he would look like in a live action version.

"And then he eats it"  That was EPIC!

Paul definitely was way better then i originally thought it would be. most definitely rewatchable

How could you miss the Close Encounters reference’s, the five tones, and the mountain ? 😂😂😂😂.

Lorenzo Soil makes reference to "Lorenzo's Oil" a a movie with Nick Nolte and Susan Susan Sarandon which is based on a true story.

The black mail box originally belonged to rancher Steve Medlin, it became a popular meeting place for alien enthusiasts. Due to theft and it being shot at, it became bullet proof (for real) and heavily padlocked. He eventually had it moved off the road and closer to his ranch.

Since then many fans have put replacements up for fun, they have a habit of getting stolen.

Fun fact, Jason Bateman's mother is British, and from the same town as Charles Darwin (and me).

I love this film soooo much, a few years ago i wanted to watch reactions to it but there was literally like only 1 reaction video to it on yt and idk what happened but soooo many channels reacted to it in the last year or so, it's one of those films I watched like a hundred times and still laugh my ass off everytime, it's so fun watching people experience it for the first time

Thank you for reacting to this true gem of a movie. When I say “Keith Nash!” In public, (someplace public like a concert) certain people look at me and just know

Paul, a comedy movie that had actual laugh moments in it, unlike many.

Paul being able to turn invisible while holding his breath has got to be a reference to The Black Cauldron. The books. Not the Disney film where that character was cut from most of the story and transformed from a dwarf who could become invisible while holding his breath into a fairy who was only in one scene and barely did anything.

Fun fact: the boat that Darwin sailed in was called the SS Beagle & their RV is the Travelers Beagle.

You gotta watch all 4 at least a dozen times before deciding which is the best. So much that you miss on a first time watching. I know a lot of reaction channels do first time watching videos but I'd even watch a rewatch video where the goal is seeing all you've missed the first time around.

“I had a doggo like that” oh…oh no..

When the band was hired for the bar scene, they were asked to do the "Cantina Band Song". The band already had learned it for an earlier wedding.

45:08, That was a Close Encounters of the Third Kind reference.

42:43 me when things go wrong at work

4:45 Personally, I would have chosen the "Watch the Skies" bumper sticker since that was the working title for Steven Spielberg's "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
