Oh!! I love this!!! We did the same thing in Skagway this last June and had a fantastic journey to emerald lake, I haven’t done the train but I picked this so it would just be our family and we could stop where we wanted.

What a beautiful day you had! We were there in July and also rented a car for the day. Definitely recommend it, especially if you have previously done the train. Our weather was our chilliest day, but still gorgeous.

We did this by bus and it was an awesome excursion. I would worry about getting back to ship if there was a problem though. Just me😊

Loving the Alaska videos especially as we have just booked our 14 day Glacier Adventure cruise with Princess in 2027! A bit of a wait but building anticipation. Left Canada when I was 8 years old - still a proud Canadian but educated and brought up in New Zealand. Not following your other channel on your weight loss journey but so very very impressed with your results- you look amazing. Been on my own roller coaster of weight management my whole life so have so much admiration for you (a little jealous having recently backslided after recent good weight loss but I keep trying 😊) keep up your excellent success ❤

Looks like you had fun in Skagway. I lived and worked in Skagway for 3 years in 2000. I miss the scenery but don't miss the winters and snow.

The strange statue is called an Inukshuk. It is shaped like a human and is used as a landmark or commemorative sign.

Great video... driving on your own is what we always do. That is one of my favorite drives. I just wanted to mention that it was a black bear that you saw and not a Grizzly...whoops !
