once my girlfriend was watching me play Super Metroid and I said Spazer was the dumbest name, and she says to me "It makes sense because it's a spread laser", and I had my mind blown right open. It's perfect.

Mike's skeptic look when James talks about AOL-Spielberg 😂👏👏

I love that James made a joke about them making "The Karate Adult" in this video, barely a year before Cobrai Kai came out. I swear he has a knack for this stuff.

James & Mike Mondays Drinking Game

every time Mike says "like" drink a Shot
every time James says "yeah"   drink a shot

Somewhere Steven Spielberg is telling a story "like, I MAY have talked to AVGN before he got famous I don't know. It seemed legit. It said his name and he was into ET and horror and stuff"

They were strangely prophetic in their predictions of the return of Data in the Star Trek: Picard movie and the modern Karate Kid show Kobra Kai. 🤔

Damn, that simple death animation was somehow genuinely creepy. Like: Your space suit implodes in a deadly environment and you have 2,5 seconds to scream before your skin melts, your organs rupture and your flesh dissolves...

Big zorro fan btw

Dude had 55 missiles during fight with Phantoon but keeps using spazer

the soundtrack is soooooo good. not like "considering it's time and it's platform(16bit)" kinda good, just, really good.

mike looked like he was in pain watching James fight that boss and lose

For an easier time switching between missiles and the beam, press Y when you are on the missile, super missile ect. Pressing Y instantly takes you back to your beam so you dont have to press select so many times. Hope this helps

They kinda predicted the future with the whole "Karate Kid/Adult" reboot, because now there's a Cobra Kai Show here on YouTube Red.

2:55 Well would you look at that. A year later, we got Ralph Macchio to reprise his role as an adult in Cobra Kai.

R.I.P. George A. Romero

Aw... i love that sand guy who helps you

LASER: Light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation
SPASER: Surface plasmon amplification by stimulated emission of radiation

Did James not notice that cyclopsian thing that killed him has Titanosaurus' roar?

When Mother Brain dies, she makes Mothra's voice as well.

How much would James' mind be blown if he watched a speed run where the game get beaten in half an hour.
