I love how you don’t candy coat church history. Thank you! 🙏

Wow, great evidence presented here Connor.  Glad to see I'm not alone!  It's been a painful 3 years in the "Pharisee in Recovery" program, but thanks to one of your videos, "When is a Prophet Actually… a Prophet?" I realized I needed help and have been tirelessly seeking answers ever since!  :)

👏👏👏Amen Connor, Amen. As you stated, Joseph Smith told the truth, God has always taught that polygamy is an abomination & whoredom. Church leadership can & do lie ….they do lead members astray.

Really appreciate you giving the historical context. The argument that this Taylor “revelation” is about anything other than polygamy has no basis in reality, according to the documented teachings of that time. Better that we deal with that than try to pretend it isn’t saying what it actually says.

Thank you for covering this.

It doesn’t look like institutional repentance to me.

Unfortunately, one of the hardest truths to learn is that governments, institutions, etc. don’t and can’t learn, they can’t “repent.” There’s only hope that people can.

Always love your commentary, Connor 🫶

Thank you Connor for this musing and for your courage and integrity . The church continues to practice, teach and "cover up" polygamy  through temple sealings. Members of the church will be excommunicated today for practicing polygamy which is against the law of the land yet it is openly practiced in the temple via temple sealings for men who choose to remarry a woman that has never been sealed or performed after a person dies . I guess that is what they mean by "monogamy is the rule and polygamy is the exception" which obviously they believe is a law of heaven. The leaders need to address this more than ever.. it is not going away.
"Oh what a tangled web we weave...When first we practice to deceive"!

Ironic timing to double down on polygamy at none other time than when the origin is brought to question

Perhaps all of these things are happening to force the individual to seek the Spirit, develop a strong connection, and be able to discern FOR THEMSELVES in order to know what is true. Which is exactly what God wants us to do.

I hope you're right that this discussion isn't going away. To me you look like the last man standing. 132 problems is gone, still mormon is MIA. I really hope you're able to keep going. Love your work and I am standing with you, for whatever that's worth.

I really appreciate all of your research! You’re great. Keep going

Thank you Connor.  My many years of trying to figure this out after realizing that there a huge inconsistencies, have had me feeling similarly.  It is very perplexing.

This reminded me of the “revelation” for us to be good citizens and get the COVID vaccine and wearing masks. Where is the church’s transparency on this issue?

Glad you did this one quickly. I knew about this so-called revelation, but you did a deep dive into this topic and the history behind it, not just the fallacy of it. As always, you're the top dog when it comes to analyzing things like this.

That "revelation" makes me sick! God would NEVER do that to His daughters. He'd have to hate all women to subject them to that kind of abuse

Another great video! thanks again Connor!

Wo unto you scribes is a riveting documentary on this very topic.. a must watch for all..!!

As an attorney, I think you did a great job boiling it down: a) its not a revelation and that’s a bad look for Taylor and the church or b) it is a revelation and it’s a bad look for the church. Because the LDS church has continued to embrace polygamy as a commanded practice and held onto Section 132, situations like this are lose-lose. They can’t take a position one way or the other. And that makes your last point so obvious: God is not the author of this polygamy circus. Great job, Connor.

There are members of the church that considered the first presidency's counsel regarding the covid vax as a revelation, but they will consider a "First Person Jesus" revelation to a prophet as personal revelation.
