A return to form. The old Ys leads take a familiar path with their second SNES game. Arguably creating something that would leave a much, much larger legacy than the series it started. These days there's plenty of action RPGs where you rebuild a settlement or town, but today we're looking at the granddaddy of this format. It's time for Soul Blazer.

Just finished Soul Blazer for the first time last night and stumbled on this vid. You covered a lot of really interesting stuff in depth and I learned a lot. Thanks for making such a great vid, really glad to see this game getting the love it deserves!

Excellent video, glad to see you back and doing well.
Love the cosmic feel of Quintet games, dealing with things much grander beyond human comprehension and how it affects humans. I have to assume Tomoyoshi Miyazaki was well read.
Please keep including localization differences because this was really illuminating.
