Captain America's greatest blunder, not getting Ashley Johnson's number.

Adding these scenes honestly solves the problem of modern MCU where it ignores the civilians because it actually gives a spotlight to them.

Omg dear Ashley!! I wonder what it would have been like if she became Steve's love interest. :o

These hang together incredibly well. Five minutes that change the whole film. But I’m also glad they cut them out. Maybe a Director’s Cut some years down the line.

she did a really good job in all these scenes

Ellie got saved by captain america.

Honestly, you could have easily turned this into a 5 minute short. It reminds me of an actual comic book. You know, big action is going on in 'The Avengers' but if you pick up the Captain America issue that week it's a story about a waitresses survival during that event and how Captain America's actions saved her life. This is still very watchable.

I love how Steve said "maybe another time" then went to pay cuz he was about to leave yet Beth went and filled his cup while saying "table's yours" trying to get him to stay
cute move

She could've definitely been a long term side character. They should bring her back 💪🏾

A few weeks ago, I was chatting with a friend about how manifesting never seemed to work for me. I’d tried so many methods but still felt stuck. We heard about a book called Manifest the Unseen by Luna Rivers on a podcast, and I was hesitant at first. But after reading just a few chapters, I realized how much I was missing. Luna's approach is so different from anything I’ve ever tried. It’s not just about thinking positive, it’s about aligning with real-world actions that bring your desires into reality. Now, I’ve manifested opportunities I never imagined possible, and my mindset has shifted completely. If you’re frustrated like I was, don’t hesitate. Read this book. It will change everything ❤

Lol I thought this was just a director trying to pay off a me too moment. Thanks for the deleted scenes

Thats Ellie

One of our best voice actresses

I wish we'd seen more of her in the MCU.  Such a wonderful actress.

I guess Joel forgot to protect her so he instead hired Captain America

She would have been a much better love interest! I love how there were so many little moments that show how brave and smart she is: realizing that others had been rounded up in that room and killed, running out to get the other waitress and a patron at the start of the attack, a curiosity about the alien ship, covering her mouth when the cop is shot… so many little things that highlight her good nature AND her smarts. I would have loved her to be be Steve’s love interest instead of Sharon Carter!

Other people: she's cute.
Me: ELLIE!!!

1:31 PRACTICAL effects in MCU movie! Not only green screen crap like they do now. Things were way better back then 😢

4:01 "Nothing, I'm just a kid from Brooklyn."

I was really shocked when I saw her from last of us and in Avengers.
