But when we watch stories like these, are we actually learning and reflecting on our own relationships — or are someone’s pain and bad decisions simply becoming entertainment?

We asked our community where they think the line gets blurry, and in this episode, we unpack their answers. Are these films useful conversation starters for couples? Can they help us recognise unhealthy behaviour? Or does dramatising these issues risk romanticising and normalising them instead?

This isn’t about condemning the movies. It’s about asking: what do we take away from them after the credits roll?
