Best Tutorial for me for the Last 5 years.

Outstanding, as always. But this video has especially great ideas that go so far for being so suggestive rather than prescriptive. A real gem.
Struggled to find this video to watch it again. I searched endlessly for ‘3d sound design’ to no avail but did eventually find my way back.

Offtune violates “keep it subtle” rule. Otherwise, of course, play the synth! Hearing Stephan Bodzin for the first time was my revelation/confirmation movement is the most important in Electronic ❤
At that time I was making most of my music in Korg Gadget app, drawing automation on the iPad surface with my finger. I was happy to confirm, I got at least one thing right 😂😂

Hermoso, muchas gracias!

Great, just what I’ve been saying, very helpful 👏

Wow, this is by far my favourite tutorial of urs! I really like how you conceptualise the three layers 😄

wow finally some one that understands. Make things broken! That's part of the beauty. Go outside and look at trees. They are all different and have their own stories. Your sounds should too! I have a band called The Black Queen. We used one of Moderat's Waldorf Blofeld's on a handful of tracks.

Top tire right here! 💪 Another fantastic video thanks for the email brother ❤🎉🎉

tons of value, love you man

Great demonstration. And you can do even more to enchance the human touch. PLAY the notes, don't always program them in. For example, if you use a piano in your song, there's nothing wrong with playing the notes or the chords, even if you can't play the piano. But you know f.e. the chords you want to use. You can play them into your DAW one by one. I always use something in my songs which is played and not programmed.
But I definitely try this thing that you've demonstrated. This is a good way to bring more interest to your song, even if it's not Techno. So, why not try it in Melodic House or Electronic Music?

These tips are really great. Thank you very much!

Thanks again!

Amazing video! ⭐🙌🏻

Spot on! Great video

Awesome vid Philip thank you! So inspiring and insightful!

Solid tips, love it

great one ! thanks !

12:20 At this point, modding along Q&D, I noticed that the total effect indeed was rather random ()not chaos (yet)), but that also created, for instance a(n)(unforseen) combination of effects that suddenly made my kick 'disappear' (mask?) one beat. Then came the rules ;-)

came here to say: great thumbnail! :)
you do them yourself?
