As suggested I've added links to the songs discussed in the video description.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KANAMI 🎉☕️🎂

Thank you for including BandMaid's acoustic accomplishment. Their ability to take a hard rock song and rewrite it into a lovely stripped down musical journey, really differentiate them from other rock bands that simply play hard rock on every album.

That’s a fine set that represents the actual B-M pretty well. I would have add one newer one like Ready to Rock wich marks a next level in their history, but all in all well maid. To pick 5 that fit for the majority of the fan base is just a mission impossible, as even my top five rotate depending on my mood and include probably at least 30 songs … and the JBI/WD gang will not be happy and do what they can do best … complain 😅 So all in all, well done, you’re a brave man.

Next time include "About Us", Band-Maid's song of thanks to their fans for the mutual encouragement during the lockdowns.

Cool video

OH MY GOD PLEASE TALK ABOUT CHEMICAL REACTION NEXT TIME PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING ON IT FRFR 🙏🙏 MY FAVE!!! liberal and moratorium deserves a lot of love and attention too!

You could do this sort of breakdown with five other songs and still get your point across much the same way. Then you could do it again with yet five other songs. And so on...

Great discussion -- and I think it's a fine list! Lol, already seeing disagreements in the comments. But I'd feel lost in a Black Hole if everyone in the BAND-MAID fandom agreed on five songs showing the band's range. Main thing I'd do is change the number: I'd probably bump it up to 10 or 12. Five is pretty tight for these ladies. Another idea might be, what makes BAND-MAID unique musically? Then discuss excerpts from songs that demonstrate that.

thought CROSS would be included as it's one of their most interesting and unique tracks with all the key changes going on but good choice of songs nevertheless, unleash EP is so so good it deserves all the glaze

looking forward to haku vid 🙂

None of these are on my top 10 list.
After 2020 it felt like they wanted to cram the most possibly on the albums.
When things gets too frantic I lose focus.
My list:
1. Blooming. Their masterpiece. All band came together and gave their parts to Kanami, who expertly did knit it all together. So many details on this. But the mainsolo into the drop with Miku and Saiki harmonising. Chefs kiss!
2. Daydreaming. Brings out the more soulful parts of the band. So much restraint and giving it just enough to make it a pleasant listen.
As always: Great Kanami solo, where she pours out her soul in classic fashion.
3. Alone. One of the first signs about the direction they were heading in. It also highlights the 3 at the backs musicianship. Nice doublebass patterns and harmonising between Mincho and Misa. Metalstyle melodic shreddy-shred!
4. The non-fiction days. Yehyeh... Not written by the maids, it doesn't take from the fact it got some irresistible drive.
5. Time. It hits me really hard everytime. As Miku sings. "Time never waits for me. Time never waits for you". All about the harsh reality about life, but also to get through it. Also waiting for this character to make up his/hers mind. Leave and search appreciation somewhere else? since "time waits for no man" (Iron Maiden).
Honourable: "Moratorium" Saw a live-version and was smitten. "Page" It feels like some continuation of "Time". "Endless story" Watching it on the livestream from Yokohama, was such an experience. "Hate?" Just as the previous it gets a whole different feel live. Kanami and Misas duel is ridiculous! "Without holding back" Just like from now on it should've been added to disc. Like some bonus to "Conqueror".
