One of the best things is that not only does he not swear, but he doesn’t use filler words. You can actually understand what he’s saying and it makes sense.

In this song, Intro, he says “go back to my moments album most of you people probably don’t know what I’m saying.” And In the 2:33 mark of the When I Grow Up video several years later, you see NF in a car trying to hand someone a CD to get them to listen to his music. You can see from the person in the back seat that the CD says “Moments” which was one of his first music projects he ever did and what NF refers to in Intro. He’s said that CD was terrible but it was just a stepping stone in helping him improve as an artist.

He's been rapping since high-school and he did an EP called moments hence the line " Go back to my moments album " but this was his 1st real come out album...👊🛒🗝🎈

This was his first major label backed song. He had a big following before this, so he said this song was him introducing himself to the industry and all that.
