Hakeem was really 6'11" not 7'0".... But he was probably the NBA all-around center to ever play the game!........

These videos bring back so many memories of my teenage years. Thanks!!!!

I love this kind of old NBA documentary

RIP Wes Unseld

30:02 - smooth backboard bankshot by walton.

RIP Nate Thurmond

The most valuable position in basketball, hands down.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar vs Moses Malone

Whats sad is there are no true centers anymore, just positionless basketball, small forwards playing as centers nowadays or whoever is the next tallest player on the team

These men are the sky scrappers.

Hakeem Olajuwon vs Patrick Ewing

When I was growing up as a Knicks fan, I would often ask myself when reading the stats of Dave Cowens - How is he so good in the paint? He shouldn't be doing this! For like two years in a row from my personal knowledge as a fan, Dave Cowens was a league leader in just about all of the required categories asked for a player at the center position- blocked shots & rebounds..etc. And I would still often repeat - How is he doing all that? I used to hate the Celtics (because they were consistently so good)! However after the Larry Bird era ended, I was sad as a basketball fan because I knew it would be an end of a very special era of consistent winning of Celtics Basketball. Again, out of all of those great Celtics teams I despised in my youth, I often think of Dave Cowens during the 1970s. It will be a rare thing to find a big man with more heart and intensity than Dave Cowens. Of course, we all know that Bill Russell was a much better big man, and was arguably the best big man to ever play in the NBA. But Dave Cowens definitely put his heart into most games at the number five spot for the Celtics during his amazing career.

Thanks Santiago, this was the video that I was waiting on!!!!!

Thanks for uploading all these great videos
