I built this custom tray at home for my GU Patrol, designed around exactly how I use the rig — touring, camping, carrying gear and plenty of hard off-road driving.

In this video I take you through the full build, from the bare steel and tray frame through to the finished setup. The goal was to keep it strong, practical, easy to repair and tough enough to handle the abuse this Patrol gets.

This was all built at home in the shed, and like most DIY builds, there were plenty of decisions, changes and challenges along the way.
