Autumn! Do Autumn! All the colorful leaves, drizzly weather... the damp dirt and patches of mud you could play with!

I think the moisture “creep” up the bank really fits well with the overall scene. Happy little accident, as Bob Ross would say.

Watching half an hour of Uncle Nightshift is the best thing about Friday’s. Maybe a tank graveyard next as a diorama?

@spicycaco2061 4 years ago

Have you tried making an entirely black and white diorama? Could be an interesting challenge trying to capture the detail and textures of a scene entirely in black and white

I think the reason why your method of completely repainting the groundwork black/dark brown and then highlighting later looks so good, is that it unifies the groundwork with the model. You paint the model the exact same way -- dark first, then building up lighter colours on top -- so everything looks like it belongs in the scene as the visual style is all the same :)

The fact the resin crept up the bank made it much more realistic as that what water would do. Great result.

I loved the "lubricated like a fox" easter egg. Made me chuckle.
No native English-speaker will ever get it. :)

I really love the new format with a whole diorama per video. It's really satisfying to watch the whole thing come together :).

Great work it looks amazing. And the panzer being in a river is not a conspiracy but reality. The youtuber cone of arc and his community found the location of the tank and it fell off a ferry while crossing a river.

@joonasnaski9513 1 year ago

Meanwhile I can barely draw even just water and this guy made a diorama with a goddamn tank in water.

@Misty_Fox 3 years ago

You're completely right about the Panzer of the Lake being in a river, another YouTuber named ConeofArc was able to confirm it had sunk during a failed river crossing in Belgium.

I think the bubbles and distorted area of the water added some more realism to the model.
There's lots of gasses trapped under soil. When thet gets disturbed (By driving a tank into it as an example) you will get all these bubbles rising to the surface.
But i understand that it wouldnt look as good as it should at these smaller scales.

Love the model!
