Painting a classic 1989 Citadel RTB07 Imperial Guardsman — Rogue Trader / oldhammer plastic Imperial Guard.

Let's paint the original plastic Imperial Guard kit from 1989. This is the RTB07 boxed set sculpt: chunky Perry-era Guardsman. Stripped back to bare plastic, then painted in a late-80s / 'Eavy Metal style — pale blue fatigues, dark flak armour, red helmet stripe, shoulder markings, goblin green base.

This is the first mass-produced plastic Imperial Guard. Before Cadians, before Krieg, before Astra Militarum. If you collected Rogue Trader or 2nd edition 40k, this is the trooper that came in the box.
