Hearing Gene getting emotional 🥲
Got Me

‘The kind of man I wish I was more like…’. 🥹 So very touching to hear him say.

I'm 59 now, and I couldn't be more grateful for growing up and being alive with a soundtrack like Sabbath, Who, Kiss, Creedence, Charlie Daniels, Elvis, B.B.King, Skynyrd, Chuck Berry, Purple and so many others. I'm lucky. I met Ozzy once when I was younger, and he was exactly like Gene just described. Super friendly and gave me a big hug. I'll never forget it. We've lost a Giant and an absolute original.
Rock in peace, Ozzy.
I'll catch you later, mate.

He is the Elvis Presley of Heavy Metal.

Gene exhibiting humility... Did I miss another meeting. Well done, Mr. Simmons. RIP Prince of Darkness, my condolences to Sharon and the entire family. God speed.

My son, Greg Gory, ((stage name) plays Ozzy in a tribute band called Bark at the Moon and he blows people away with his impersonation of Ozzy. The whole band always revered Ozzy and they were devastated to learn of his passing.  Every show they do now will be in Ozzy’s honor and done with total respect to the man and the musical icon that he was.  ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

still cant believe hes gone

Gene is a class act. Ozzy was a good guy from what all his people say. Never met the man but I have attended some of his shows. Great performer. He will be missed  rest in peace Ozzy

I don't think anyone on that panel ever heard a song from him completely.

The loss of Ozzy is crushing. Surely, as with the other legions of fans out there, he was such an immense part of my youth as well as adulthood, in his music, both solo and Sabbath. The Osbournes show brought Ozzy to us in an even more personable and loving way. Thankfully I caught Ozzy and Sabbath live at Ozzfest and the reunion tour. The connection with his fans is absolutely palpable and transcendent.

My respect and appreciation for Gene Simmons is growing with every hour I catch these amazing words concerning Ozzy by Gene. Always appreciated Kiss and Gene but so much high regard and respect for Gene during this time of such a tremendous loss to music, fans, and really humanity. Ozzy touched everyone in times where people truly go out of their way to be against each other.

Thank you so much Gene Simmons for these amazing words and comfort for all of us.

Deepest condolences to Sharon and the family.

Thank you Ozzy and forever in my heart🖤😓🙏✝️

rip ozzy love love we miss you too Ozzy

Gene... Black Sabbath was not "starting out" in 1975. I've heard him say that in a couple interviews now. Without Black Sabbath, there'd be no KISS. Period.

Prayers to his family especially ms Sharon god bless them all!!!!

Gene U Are A Wonderful Man I Truly Love U  For Who U Are And What U Stand For ❤

Ozzy osbourne and KISS  sold alot of 8track tapes in the  1970,s 😊missed those days.

For some reason, a moment stands out in my childhood memory of doing my homework and Iron man was playing on the AM top 40 radio in the kitchen. I was a little jazz snob, but I thought, hey that's not bad. It's like a comic book story....

Gave us alot to think about when we were teenagers for sure. So glad to have known the Sabbath days. RIP , prayers for family.❤

Ozzy Osbourne was truly a once in a lifetime Entertainer and Performer. One of the top 10 greatest Rock stars of  All time 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 R.I.P

First time i enjoyed Gene speaking so nice and respectful about another person, you can hear the hurt in his voice, especially when he  said he wished he could've been like Ozzy.

Respect to you Gene and in all my life I never thought I'd hear you talk like that about someone and about yourself included. . I've set up your shows up many times met you many times in and out of your makeup I've always thought you were cocky and a bit of a bully. But now I've seen you for you.  You are a good man..  I think that the whole world should see you like this more often..
