World record aside, the fact he has the "gearing" to get to the last 500m already ahead of WR pace and drop his split even further like that is fucking insane. Right at the point where even the best of the best would be crying out for the line and desperately trying to hold onto their average, Simon brings what is already record-setting pace down even further
