Witnessing the worlds fastest ever eights race - "Ah yep the Polish will be disappointed with this"

as a german: british commentary on rowing is second to none. it's your sport really, we just win sometimes, but you have the knowledge, you have university rowing teams and competitions. i enjoy it a lot.

Glad to see World Rowing posting these.

Wow Germans so fast but so smooth and not rushed at the catch

Commentators from Great Britain are just brilliant. 2nd to none.

The m8+ is the powerhouse of the sport 💪

That looks like Cam Buchan at 8:27.  I didn't know he'd rowed for GB before embarking on singles sculling.

Der deutsche Achter ist ne Macht

Soooo smooooth ...

Really was, they kept their speed up, great to watch 🍺

I’d like to rewatch Men’s 2- A-final 2017 world rowing championships in Sarasota

not a sport for the weak willed, vastly underrated as a team sport - Good Work, Germany and the other teams, as well

I remember that period with lots of experimenting with different rigs. Late 60's thru early 80's.  Looks like that is pretty much over with.

Ich kann mich noch erinnern an den Ratzeburger achter. Was war das für eine Mannschaft. Alle Achtung für diese neue Mannschaft

its insane to watch this!

Great to see this race again! Good times.

Great video clip!

Just wow!

Excellent race. congratulation.

Those catches!! Make the other boats looks heavy.

これのストロークとかバカ気持ちいいんだろうなぁ
