Having the World Cup here has been a breath of fresh air for us Americans. I’m falling in love with America all over again. God bless America! Thank you for loving us!
8:06 FIFA banned Americans from tailgating for the World Cup games… I think as one of the host countries, it is kinda rude to come into our house and tell us that we cannot do one of the biggest sporting traditions in America…
The World Cup this year has been exactly what this country needed. And even though the USA lost to Belgium today, the way world fans have gotten to experience our country and enjoy each other's company means more than any trophy. Thank you for reminding us how great America is.
American culture loves visitors. There is nothing that makes us happier than showing you all what gets us excited and sharing it. Whether it's food, sports, or just a good time out doing something totally random, if you are enjoying yourselves, so are we.
weve got LOTS of issues going on in our country right now, but most Americans are regular hard working folks that love and want to be loved. Been a joy to have all our international friends over!
If you go to the Kentucky Derby make sure you're down close to the horses when they run because you'll feel it in your soul you'll feel the power of the horses in your bones
I met an English fellow traveling the US a few years back who fell in love with baseball by watching games in his hotel rooms. We took him to an MLB game and he had a great time. It would be great to see him again someday.
I think the one most prominent stereotype that Americans hold of Europeans is honestly that y’all just don’t like us tbh.
I think a lot of American media and politics tends to show our worst qualities. So when we have an opportunity like this - to invite the entire world to our home.
We do our best to be great hosts. Show the things we love and what we do for fun. And at the same time embrace everything that makes other countries great.
I think Americans saw the WC as a bit of a challenge to prove ourselves as humans. Not just Hollywood and DC.
I’m a local that lives 40 minutes away from Atlanta that has gone to Atlanta United games and Atlanta Falcons games. Had no intention on going to a World Cup game but found a good deal the morning of and took my mother and set behind the gol. Me and my mom are Colombian and we turned full English those two hours and we’re supporting. That was the best energy if ever see that stadium In. Hoping England take it home!
