Pulse is the greatest concert of all time. Anything from Pulse is mind blowing.

A drummer, a percussionist, two keyboardists, rhythm guitarist, bassist, lead guitarist and three backup singers. 10 top-tier folks put  on the best live shows ever recorded imo.

Pink Floyd is NOT background music. Its NOT ambience music
Its NOT dance music.
It is music you sit down, clear your mind, drink in hand, focus...and ABSORB, EXPERIENCE
On a different level of impact, I find Mark Knopfler's music requires the same respect ❤

The Pulse concert is for Pink Floyd what Alchemy Live is for Dire Straits. Possibly the best live performances of all times.

It isn't two drummers. One is the percussionist.

pink floyd is my favorite band ever

Pink Floyd is my absolute favorite. It's been so for 50 years.

David can somehow take a single note and thread it through your soul

I've always loved Pink Floyd, since the 70s. Makes me happy for people to discover them now 😊🎉

Guy Pratt does a wonderful job on the bass

David gilmour had a live performance last year in Rome, still has talent at 78 years old

After Pink Floyd, you can only listen for Pink Floyd.

The various stages of discovering Pink Floyd:
1- The extraordinary visuals of their live performances and the quality of their sound.
2- The incredible level of talent of the musicians and those accompanying them.
3- The message conveyed by their lyrics, which seem timeless and still relevant, without ever being banal.
4- The fascinating stories behind their various achievements, whether it be the studio recording sessions, the concert tours, or simply the enthusiasm they generate.

Gilmour is a master of emoting with the guitar, and the king of bends.

Every song from this gig is phenomenal, look at Keep Talking, Dave uses a talk box, he makes it sound like someone is trying to talk, so much emotion in his playing.

You really need to listen to the full Pulse concert  its truly epic and he takes comfortably numb to another whole level.

What no one ever talks about is how much attention to detail, and money they put into their shows. EVERYTHING is PERFECT! Everyone knows to expect great musicians. They are great musicians, but they make sure they are surrounded by people who can achieve greatness with them. The rehearsals. The music. The lights. The pyrotechnics. Even the fog machines. And most especially the sound. When I saw the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour they broke and sound ordinance the city had. Floyd had to pay a fine afterwards. They equated the decibel level to a commercial air liner taking off, and despite being in the middle of it, my ears didn’t ring afterwards. When you paid for a ticket, you got more than your money’s worth. Same for the Pulse tour. I think there is a video of their preparation for the tour and it is well worth watching! I’ve seen a lot of greats. Dylan. Bonnie Raitt. Neil Young. Stevie Nicks. Van Halen. Etta fucking James. And no one, no one has put as much into their shows. After the Pulse tour, I knew I had seen the pinnacle. That no matter how many shows I went to, I had seen the greatest concert I would ever see. That was more than 30 years ago, and no artist has proven me wrong.

Pink Floyd is an experience. Any performance from Pulse is a go to when you want something extra epic... but then they were always amazing live. I actually didn't really listen to PF growing up, but have come to appreciate this incredible band and Gilmour's later work much more over the years.

Pink Floyd wrote Dogs & Echoes (Pompeii), allready enough to be legendary❤
