God forbid a girl recommend a book a totally normal, acceptable amount of times 🙄
But seriously though I hope you like it! I think you'll at least find it interesting lol.
After you finish it I'll have to find something else to be totally not annoying about 😃

I have watched you do your journals for yearsssss now and I still get fully mind blown how your brain can just do that!!! I am incapable of producing anything I don't have a reference to, my brain struggles to create anything it hasn't already seen and studied, so to me I'd only ever be able to do a journal if I have studied the exact way someone does it it and do it the same way... but you just do it!! Your creativity is incredible!

I'm normally not a fan of reading non-fiction books about death, but I really liked "will my cat eat my eyeballs"! Mostly because I was the kind of kid that asked questions like the ones the author tackled, so I found it really interesting.

Is that an enhypen page I see in your journal??? ❤️❤️ 19:40

Vera Wong is sooo good and heartwarming! And the audio is one of the best out there it really adds so much life to it

I love Jonathon Strange and Mr. Norrell so much, you’re making me want to reread it!

Everyone be quiet my show is on 🍿😌📚🖤

I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and now I read with you for every one of your vlogs! They're so calming and the perfect reading atmosphere, love your vibe and your channel!! 🫶

I'll endorse The Starving Saints. I read it last year with my book club and I always tell people that the actual process of reading the book wasn't that great for me. It's so trippy and wild that it's kind of difficult to tell yourself to pick up the book and keep reading. But talking about the book afterwards, unpacking the symbols and how the characters interacted with one another, figuring out the meta-narrative, that was so fun and interesting that it made this one of my favorite books I read last year.

Also, I have become evangelical about The Everlasting. It was such a joy to see you experience it for the first time. Happy reading!

02:15 the drowned woods is EVERYTHING to me 😭🫶🏼

I love the UK copies of Emma Lion!! The French flaps, the map of St. Crispians, the repetitive icon art on the inside of the covers that is an Easter egg from each story, but my FAVORITE detail is her (growing) library on the back of each cover! 🤗

I am currently reading The Butcher's Masquerade, The Raven Scholar, Diviners, and Half City

24:34 THE GLITTERING EDGE MENTION !!!! I picked this one up  on a whim earlier this summer and quickly became obsessed with it. It has such classic, nostalgic ya fantasy vibes.

Honestly gotta say... I would love to see your island on animal crossing🥰

I love your cottagecore vibe - and your reading taste is IMPECCABLE ❤❤❤

I have been reading the green bone saga, am currently on book 2 and I feel like you would really like it. It’s so good and I immediately felt attached to the Kaul family. I heard the 3rd book is the best so I’m excited to continue/finish the trilogy 🫶🏻

I need more vampire book recs, so thank you 💕

I love the vlog as always Katie. I can't wait for fall because I want this heat to end...

Vera Wong is such a fun mystery. Best on audio though.

Katie! Have you heard of Violet Thislewaite is not a villain anymore? It’s a cozy fantasy about an ex villain who moves with her sentient pothos into a greenhouse to start a flower shop! I think you might enjoy it :))
