Longrun meadow pacing - 26/09/26

Hi All and welcome back to my channel.

Today is Saturday the 26th of September and with it being Taunton 10k tomorrow that i will be racing in, i have volunteered to be a pacer at my local parkrun, which is Longrun meadow parkrun in Taunton Somerset. I am pacing 30 minutes today, and I am surprised everytime I do longrun at a slower than my normal race pace, how congested it gets further back in the run.

Today is my 550th parkrun, and my 37th parkrun for 2026, this is my 401st parkrun here at longrun and my 337 volunteer stint.
