"Love cannot live where there is no trust." -Eros

My favorite line.

When you finally realise that most Greek mythology story start with Zeus having an affair or Aphrodite getting jealous or mad

Psyche: *born with natural beauty
Aphrodite: and I took that personally

"I love you Eros."
"Really???"
"PSYCHE"

Eros didn’t fall In love with her because he wounded himself. He genuinely fell in love with her for her humility and grace.

Ok, Eros is real messed up for this: He makes sure that no other man loves loves her except him, he takes her from her family, never shows his face around Psyche for her to ever truly know who he is, and just abandons her by saying you never trusted me. Dude, you have been deceiving her from day one and manipulating her and her life.

Them : "My husband will be very rich and will cover me in the finest silk blah blah"
"Mine will be a famous general and will show me as his most remarkable achievement"
Also Them : sO cHeEsY
Bruh

fell in love with her for how beautiful she was but never wanted to show your own face to her while not letting any other men love her either??? that's messed up dude

Their ending is cute since they never cheated and eros only had a child with psyche which is pretty rare for greek myths ;^;

literally these voice overs are hilarious i'm dying

As much as i remember he didn't accidentally wound himself with his arrow but after seeing her he FELT as if he had been hit by that arrow.

Fact: Eros is a Monster, Why? Because he has the power even the Gods cannot resists.

“I am here for psyche”
“Monster you cannot have.....”
“I wasn’t asking”

when persephone and hades are the only actual sane couple

Eros fell in love with Psyche and decided to disobey his mother's orders. The two eloped and after a series of tragic events, Psyche was granted immortality to live forever by Eros's side. Together they gave birth to a daughter, Voluptas or Hedone, who represented physical pleasure, or bliss.

I think this is the version that everyone is mostly aware of :(

I love this story because it’s one of the stories that doesn’t end in tragedy.

I hope all of the myths become comics like these.

Why is Eros a monster? because he is the only god that can actually make Zeus himself keep it in his' pants

So their love story was basically like tinder- they can’t see each other until three dates later

“He’s not evil just… volatile.”

A trait he got from his father, and he got it from his Mother 🍷
