Nice run. I have both X and XL and they all needed the adjuster screw turn for later shift and got both dialed in.

O.S LC4 glow plug work great with 4.6 and 5.9 engines.

Well in the end it all worked out 👍

Good video Jimsrc im sdtill trying to get mines to shift correctly but the savage x is a nice nitro!

👍Ps my X 2 speed is exactly the same real quiet shift on fullpower n lot more noticeable on slow build ups especially on the rich side 👍👊

Jim, he sounding good you are definitely getting it dialed in😎👊🏻💪🏻

I had to warranty my transmitter as it kept turning off...batteries werent connecting good...new transmitter fixed hpi warranty

Slow down on those adjustments. With 1 single adjustment, you went from rich to super lean, turning those screws a half turn at a time. Don't do this — 1/8 turn at a time. SMALL adjustments.
To get that thing running just perfect, turn the low-speed needle back to the baseline settings and then fire it up. You wanna lean it in just enough so it doesn't load up and die at idle, and you get a crisp throttle response. Once you get that, your attention can then focus on the high speed. Keep it on the rich side up high speed. You can always tell a lean nitro motor when you get that CHAA-CHAA-CHAA when you lift the throttle.
As for the shifting, the far-right screw on the transmission adjusts the second-to-third gear shift point. The far-left screw adjusts the first-to-second shift point.
To get the shift points right, you wanna turn that far-right screw all the way in, which will lock out third gear. Then you can move your attention to the far-left screw hole and get your first-to-second shift point where you want it. Then you bring third by slowly making small adjustments turn the screw back out  after first and second are set.

New subscriber here. Great content. I’m going to be posting some videos too. I want to get people back into nitro. I don’t want to see it disappear.

Quick question…what tubing are you using off of the exhaust stinger? I’d like to try that to keep the nitros a bit cleaner. I found some silicone tubing on Amazon but I want to see what you’re using first before I buy it. Thanks for your time.

Where you get the tires at? All i seen is the ones you need to glue on...is that what you got?

What is the exhaust on the rear different from the side exhaust?

Which one you like the most, between the X and XL?
