Spike Benny  and Tommy on the same show Amazing

Not all hero's are handsome hollywood stars, a true life hero and a very funny man, great programme.

Bob Todd was brilliant, very funny actor.

A true meaning of an un sung hero. The man was a star

I'm glad he got the recognition.  Looks like all the royalty of English comedy there.  Wow.  Didn't know he was a WWII hero as well.

He was brilliant with his gestures, grimaces, an hysterics. Fabulous comedy actor.

I think I speak for millions when I say: “Thanks, Bob, not only for the laughter, but also for volunteering to serve your country.”

Yes famous but very down to earth person Bob was!! like so many of his generation  they did not make a fuss and were respectful and respected  and worked bloody hard to get somewhere in life. 😁

I never realised what a LEDGEND this man was . I remember him on tv .

I miss this time. When real character actors were not overly concerned with the aging of their faces. When Benny Hill appeared,  I lost it. Comedy in the 70s and 80s was so good!! So many talented actors kept me in stitches over the years. The Golden Age

Love Todd and Hill. Miss them so much.

The theme tune of This is your Life, is one thing that makes me think of Central London and its general atmosphere.

That was a good one - surprising, enthralling and interesting and what a cast that came to support him. Yes a VERY good one.

It makes me so happy, to know, that good old Benny, chose to have among his staff, not only good artists, but also men, with integrity, as well as war veterans...people, who unlike their counterparts today, weren't afraid, to sacrifice, and give their services, not only to their nation, but also to all the rest of us, so that we can enjoy our frreedom today! One such man, was Bob Todd. We learned, how to love him, as  acomedian, through Benny's show, when we watched it, here in Greece, but now that we know about his personal life as well, we also admire him! May God rest your soul dear Bob.

Benny's not so subtle dig at Davidson was hilarious.
Nice to see the second banana get the credit he deserves. Fond memories of Bob Todd, Henry McGee and all the other actors and comedians that played second fiddle to the stars but added so much to shows.

What a fantastic show

What an incredible man,

Bob Todd was marvellous. Spike, Tommy C and Benny Hill all together...unbelievable!!. Thank you!

50 trips , what a brave man

This was very nice to watch. Love Benny, Bob, Henry, little Jackie. All great stars. xx
