This has triggered such lovely memories for me of watching Marti with my mum in the late 70s, early 80s, thank you!  We loved her and found her so inspiring as female entertainers were thin on the ground back then... She's much missed as is my mum who passed away in 2013. Love you mum xxx

She was great i remember her from the 80s she was glam she was funny she was over the top and such a lovely person i miss her she died far too young

My  late  Mother  who  passed  away  in  2022, - was  a  big  fan..... She .had  her  albums  and  tapes.....i  listened  to  them  in  the  early  1980s....marvellous  time  to  be  alive... And .i  now  have  almost  her complete  BBC2 series - Which  ran  from  1979  to  1984......thanks  to  YOUTUBE....and  every  time  i  watch  this  series  i  have  a  tear  in  my  eye.....yes  REALLY  folks..... it  does  not  go  away......

So sad watching this I always liked Marti. I saw her in Oxfordshire in 1988, she got out of her blue Rolls bought sweets and lucozade from the local shop. I was too shy to approach her for her autograph, my regret.
