I’m a Software Engineer by trade, who owns a few classic and vintage motorcycle. Keeping them on the road requires a skill set that is diminishing. Thank you Jonathan for sharing your knowledge.

So, it would appear, all your Panther motorbikes were basket cases, when you first acquired them. You have done a great job of restoring and maintaining them. The oil filter modification was a clever idea. Another enjoyable and educational video. Hope you and Angie are keeping well 👍

We dont see too many Panthers here in America. I am very fond of the BSA A10, but I do believe your Panther is one of the best looking bikes I have seen. I absolutely fell in love with that bike of yours.

What a lovely bike JJ. I never want these videos to end. Your argument with the oil filter reminded me of my Yamaha XJ600, which I commuted on for a few years. The oil filter lived between the exhaust pipes and never wanted to come out. I found a filter wrench which resembles a big pair of grips, it usually did the trick. Best wishes, Dean.

A stout screwdriver hammered right through the filter cartridge from side to side was the sure-fire method of removing one of those filters that was shown to me by a garage mechanic.  Brutal but you'll be discarding the thing anyway.  Excellent video!
