I wouldn't trade being born, growing up and living my life up until now in England for any other location on the planet. I am extremely blessed to live amongst this unique green and pleasant land and it's history. Since I was born I had parents who loved to discover the magical parts of England that seem like time forgot to move on for hundreds of years and I've been to countless amazing places in my own country that most never get to see. But a lifetime isn't long enough to see it all. As an adult, I feel blessed now to live in such a place. A rural area of England that is beautiful. I love seeing people from other countries discovering even a fraction of it. It makes my heart content. I've been to a fair amount of other countries, all have their amazing places, customs and landmarks. All are beautiful and cool in their own way, but none have the magical enchantment of Britain as a whole. England, Scotland and Wales. I'm sure N. Ireland too. Many a day I've whiled away afternoons in nature's isolation with only the sounds of the wind and the birds or traversed ancient woodland, untouched by people. the type of nature you almost expect to see forest fairies trying to hide from you or felt the weight of history in beautiful village architecture. Perhaps all that time has coloured me biased, but I still don't want to take it for granted. I realise the rest of the world isn't like this and I am grateful. I hope you enjoyed yourself.

This was such a wholesome watch. England is a beautiful country and it's a real joy seeing it through someone else's eyes. You found the parts we love most about it. I've visited Japan several times and it holds a huge piece of my heart, so this felt like a lovely exchange. Hope you'll come back for more!

私はイギリスに行ったことがないのですが、のんびりダイアリーさんの綺麗な映像と素敵な目線のおかげで、現地のおしゃれな街並みや雰囲気が鮮明に伝わってきてとっても楽しかったです！

東京も日曜日に梅雨が明けて、猛暑が続いています。

Thank you. As a British person I never usually like tourist travel videos of the UK, but I found your record very charming, beautifully captured and well edited. I loved that you did not talk on camera but presented each scene with concise and apt subtitles (thanks youtube translated from Japanese) which told your story. It was nice to come with you on your journey.
I am always happy of the unusual bonds between Japan and UK given the big differences in our cultures and of course the vast distance between our two nations. There are many surprising links for example, two years ago your Emperor and Empress visited the UK and visited Oxford where the Emperor was a student at the University. Also I remember recently the band of the Coldstream Guards of our British Army did a music tour of Japan.
I am glad that you took away some happy memories.

Thank you for visiting my country. I am a Londoner but also have family on the edge of the Cotswolds so I know most of the places you visited but its always nice to glimpse them through someone else's eyes or should i say lens. The Japanese are always welcome here, you are some of the best tourists as you always have respect for the places you visit, always polite and courteous. My uncle lived in Japan for just over a year and just loved it, I hope to visit one day god willing.

What a wonderful video - you so obviously had a brilliant time. Nice that it was not just London - the other visits were so memorable. I love my country, and have spent 60+ years exploring it - but there will still be places I'll never have the years left to visit.

England has a pretty long history, a lot of things were built by many civilisations that invaded us and conquered us over the past 3000 years, my favourite one is the Roman bathhouses in Bath City. Established by Emperor Claudius 2000 years ago.

６月の終わりから、旅をされる事を前のブログで知っていたので楽しみに待っていました。
イギリスには行った事がないので、とても楽しく興味津々で拝見しました。
コロナで時間を奪われ、海外旅行に出かける意欲が薄れてしまいました。
海外旅行には結構行きましたが、ほぼツアー、個人で行く時も主人か娘と一緒。
貴女はひとり旅、すご〜い！の一言です。
充実した、ゆとりのある良い旅ですね。
何度か、主人の仕事の関係でカラードシープの会議について行き2週間位のんびりとした旅もしました。
観光旅行とは違う良さを感じた事を、貴女のおかげで思い出しました。
私もマリメッコ大好きです。次のブログも楽しみです。
