In this Button Smash Retrospective I'll be going over Episode 5 and 6 of Captain N: The Game Master, Mega Trouble For Megaland, and Wishful Thinking. In Mega Trouble For Megaland, Mega Man's home comes under attack and we bear witness to how badly the show butchers the classic robot masters. And in Wishful Thinking shenanigans ensue when a magic lamp with a genie inside causes turnmoil, and gives Eggplant Wizard and his team unlimited power! Subscribe, like, and enjoy!

“Scissors in asshole” Is now on my list of deaths I never thought I would see in an animated series lol. Great to see this being covered again.

For the lack of care about the characters and their respective mythos, that episode still had really imaginative scenes and environments.

Seriously Fabian you left Captain N and the gang falling to their doom for over a year a god damned cliffhanger lol

This was my guilty pleasure cartoon

So glad to see you coming back to the Captain N Reviews. The Mega Land episode was a favorite of mine when it first aired cause I was and still am a huge Mega Man fan. They really did make Cutman butt ugly here though. The genie episode is kind of weak, but the shenanigans with Eggplant and King Hippo did add a lot of fun to it.

I always made the connection that the Genie in Captain N was an allegory for the "Game Genie" and how you can do anything you want with it if you know the correct hex Codes or create your own for it and the games you wanted to play.

It HAS been a year! Oh snap, good to see this updated!

So, yeah, it was Dr. Wright for one game, specifically the Mega Man 1 instruction manual, which I'm just throwing to a translation goof-up so TECHNICALLY correct on their part, but also a goof up, lmao.

Can't wait until the Zelda crossover

It's real cool that you brought back the cartoon Captain N: The Game Master, I did miss these 2 episodes but I did just watch them and both of them were hilarious, Mega Man has to face Dr. Wily and his rip-off joke of the robot masters, Kid Icarus finds a magic lamp on his world, the group starts to make wishes and all of them go hilariously wrong, it was a real joy to see Captain N: The Game Master again, it's a real funny show and I hope you do bring more of them back, real cool video you did here Fabian nice job ✊

0:59 - You aren't the only one who thinks that way.

Don't be a slacker. I miss Captain N. Run with some good old nostalgia.

I think someone already commented this, but the reason why Dr. Light is called Dr. Right is because throughout the early days of Mega-Man, Dr. Light was sometimes called Dr. Right. This is because in Japanese, R and L sound exactly the same (ラ ("ra") can both mean Ra and La). This led to a translation error.

Holy crap yes this is what I've been waiting for baby. Ur freaking awsome!

I had a weird realization involving video games. Metroid, Phantasy Star II and Psychic World have a similar named final villain: Mother Brain. You are right that people are just being lazy with names.
