Realistic furniture making for most people means building what is needed, within budget, even when it is not commercially available. Creating furniture out of necessity at an affordable cost is a practical and rewarding approach.

It may not be perfect, but that is not the goal. Growth and improvement come over time. Developing skills and gradually upgrading tools, within budget, is what truly matters.

Table looks amazing! The fact that the piece that covers the DM spot doubles as a side table is pure genius!

I'm working on a very similar project as a never-woodworked-before person and your video has inspired a bunch of fun tweaks I'm going to make!

The thing I absolutely love about your channel is that it is an every day person's shop you are showing. Other wood working channels look like studio sets. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just not every woodworker's shop is going to look like that. You are an inspiration sir ...

That table is amazing and is a fantastic design. I was going to build one for our group but the space it was going to go is now being occupied so ... no go on the table yet. Thank you for sharing this build with us.

The only thing I'd consider a possibly important change would be putting an exhaust fan, like a 120 volt version of a PC fan, in the TV space, since those can get hot and hot air doesn't go down so well. But it looks great, and just what I'd like to do, if I had a garage to work in.

At the 11:20 mark (or near that time), it looks like you made a dungeon using wood. You should map that out and make it part of a campaign they need to explore. Great job!!

The best part was your wife wanted the old one in the dinning room what a gem and it allowed for this awesome video 👍🏼

The table saw blade likely needed cleaning at some point.  You get a build up of wood resin and such and need to clean them every so often or they over heat and go dull.

Great job, Dude.  I especially like the pull out DM side table. But the Cat is the Star of the Show

This is damn cool! You've added a new project to my "I'll get their eventually" list

So nice to see a build that resembles the tools and scrap wood that I end up using on projects. Also wish we had space for a dedicated gaming table. Great project.

Pretty cool. Next time You can do holes between players on both sides and pipe to GM's side (like in pool tables for balls that go to one place), so players can make rolls that they can't see result. It is really useful 😉

I love it, and I'm so happy to see a new channel with not only an excellent project, but excellent production values as well.

What a cool build!  I've never played D&D, but still, I'm jealous.

it suits the room well! love it

Once I get my dining room back to being an actual dining room... Going to jump and build a table.

Awesome build. For the tool you had this turned out amazing.

Not into D&D but that table is super sick dude!!!

Nicely done! Very impressive table. Thanks for sharing your build.

This is so beautiful I can't give enough likes 1 isn't enough lol I love it so much I've been wanting to try DnD for years but sadly don't have any groups close to me and friends don't play lol
