When I was a young lad we had a black lab, every other day my teachers would find me and ask me to take him home, he would get out of the house and run to find me at school, we eventually found out he was getting out of my bedroom window, jumping onto the garage and just coming to school to see me. We had a bond. I miss him even after 45 years.

She's crying 😢 she wants to be a mother 🙏 bless her heart. I pray she has a healthy beautiful baby soon.

If Karen ever starts crying at diaper commercials, watch out - that's how I was conceived. 😉

I was raised with dogs and cats since I was a baby and I can't imagine life without a furry companion.

I see a baby and a dog in your future 😂

Lots of love and strong bonds between dogs and children. My older brother was a Great Dane. In my own family, we had a Golden who was our third child and he thoroughly loved our human children. Now as a grandmother, the German Shepherd loved and protected his newborn little brother. We took a small blanket to the hospital, wrapped the baby to get the scent on the blanket, and took the blanket home to the dog. He got very excited over the scent, as if he knew.

This video shows exactly why I trust dogs more than people.

I am currently watching a golden doodle and he loves to take my socks. He doesn’t eat them, he just carries them around. He learned that from his older brother!

Every time I looked after my cousins daughter, my old Bullterrier girl would site beside her in the stroller and watch over her. She was the best nanny ever ❤

Life is precious don't throw it in the scrap can.

The socks thing is real. We nicknamed one of our goldens "socks" and had to use laundry hampers with lids because he would go digging for them. He never ate them or tore them up but would carry around as many as he could hold in his mouth. He also laid next to me until I woke up after passing out in the yard on my 21st birthday. Part time goof, part time fraidy cat, part time cuddle buddy, full time best friend and family member. Just like the other one. R.I.P. Hank and Max. I couldn't have asked for better companions growing up

Dogs get so enamoured with the smell / whiff / phromones of their humans that they naturally go for the socks or shoes.

The first place my sister brought my niece and nephews after leaving the hospital was my house to introduce them to my Staffie, she treated them like they were her babies and would of protected them with her life.

I had a cocker spaniel named Ebony when my daughter was born, and when I brought my daughter home, Ebony spent weeks in surrogate mom mode. Her teets swelled up and she followed us into every room. It was the sweetest thing.

The dog passing out from the diaper was hilarious! Dogs are pure, grown humans aren't!

Our first family dog was a cocker spaniel from a foster home; she was the runt from a litter that was a show dog, sadly had her tail docked too short, had a cute little underbite that wouldn't make quality. They bathed her, barely dried her off and left her at the pound OVERNIGHT in OCTOBER as it was getting cold! Definitely had attachment issues...as in followed us EVERYWHERE. By the time we had kids, she was the second mom; she'd let me know when our oldest needed a bottle, diaper change, or any kind of a fuss. "Hey, hooman, little hooman needs help."
Even a couple years later with our twins. She adored them and it was gut-wrenching when she passed away. RIP Piper...we all miss you sooo much.

Our dog was my daughter’s best playmate when she was little, now she’s an adult and our dog is a senior but that bond is still there ❤

There's one that I saw that when he met the baby the first time, the Golden started prancing and doing his "AWOOO". I was hoping to see it in this one, but with no luck 😭😭😭
