We visit Puy du Fou, Nantes, Clisson, the Parc Oriental de Maulévrier, Logis de la Chabotterie and a local Muscadet vineyard, with plenty of driving through the towns and countryside in between.
This was a very different side of France from the usual Paris or Riviera trip: medieval towns, vineyards, revolutionary history, unusual attractions and one of the strangest theme parks in Europe.
