I sold mine a few weeks ago. I loved it but wanted a bike that was more fun! I test rode and reviewed a load of bikes and ended up with an Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory & a Ducati Streetfighter V2s! Quite an upgrade 😂

Dont normally comment on videos, but id suggest giving Kawasaki z900 a chance. Test ride it if you can and go from there. It is a bit taller than the cb650, uses an inline 4 and personally i enjoyed the seating position.
I am a bit shorter than you so i was in a bit more leaned sitting position but im guessing youre gonna be pretty straight up on that bad boy.
Extremly beautiful bike that handles well and is just super fun to ride, tame when u want it to be and a beast when going all out.

2025 Tracer 9 and XSR900 look good for riotous fun, but I hope the 750 Hornet and Transalp have a baby with tubeless tires, cruise control, and an airbox panel soon. One can hope...

Look up the Triumph Tiger Sport 800! upright, triple cyl engine has more torque down low than an inline 4 but still has that upper RPM pull!

I was thinking of the S1000XR before you mentioned it - Maybe a Tracer 9 could be interesting or Triumph Tiger sport 800? Triple engines with more touring/taller specs.

You can always choose new CB1000GT 2026 if you like Honda motorcycles and if you want to go on touring rides without pain or discomfort and actually enjoy the ride, Honda dealer has convinced me to wait until they get a demo bike so I can have a go on it. I’m an experienced motorcyclist (I’ve been riding motorbikes for 15 years and my height is 1.89cm), I’ve ride a Bandit 600S 2002, GSX 1250FA 2012, GSX-S1000F 2016, I’m currently riding a MT-09 2021 it’s a great bike, but it’s not really suited to long-distance touring. I just needed a bike to get around town quickly due to family reasons that's why I bought it, but in this year I’m switching to something more touring or ADV, I tested Moto Morini X-Cape 1200 a week ago and now I'm waiting to test CB1000GT I’m going to try out a few more brands before buying.
